How I Help You Design a Life That Fits
Depth coaching for identity, purpose, and meaningful change.
Whether you're navigating a major transition, questioning what's next, or feeling disconnected from the life you've built, coaching can help you reconnect with:
who you are, what matters most, and the direction you want your life to take.
Who this is forSome people come to this work because they already understand themselves—but still feel stuck.
Others arrive because they know something needs to change, even if they can't yet explain why.
You might be navigating:
• A major life transition
• Questions of identity or belonging
• A career or relationship crossroads
• Reinvention after loss, burnout, or change
• The feeling that you've outgrown the life you've built
You’re tired of feeling stuck and ready for the next chapter in your life…
Meet Rebecca Steele, MA, MSW — Depth Coach™.I work with people who have reached a point where the life they've built no longer feels like the right fit.
Perhaps you're in a major transition. Maybe you're questioning what's next. Or maybe, from the outside, everything looks fine, but something inside you keeps saying, "There has to be more than this."
• Who am I becoming?
• What matters most to me now?
• Why do I keep finding myself here?
• What kind of life do I want to create?
Together, we'll explore what you've outgrown and help you create a life that fits who you are now.
Why This Work Matters to MeI don’t just guide this work—I’ve lived it.
I know what it feels like to search for belonging, question your place in the world, and slowly outgrow old ways of relating to yourself and others.
I've worked through these themes personally—especially through the lenses of the orphan, helper, and scapegoat patterns.
I know what it's like to:
Search for belonging, both within and with others
Over-function or over-give
Feel outside, misread, or misunderstood
And I know what it takes to start shifting those patterns—by understanding yourself more deeply and making different choices over time.
I've also had the privilege of supporting others in exploring these same questions and transforming the ways they relate to themselves and the people around them.
Hear Me Talk About This Work
I recently spoke about these patterns in more depth on a podcast episode.
In it, I explore what I call the Belonging Pattern—the drive to find connection, approval, and place, and how it shapes how we show up in relationships, work, and identity.
In the episode, I break down how the orphan, helper, and scapegoat archetype patterns often intertwine—especially for people who find themselves over-giving, over-functioning, or questioning where they truly belong.
I also share how these patterns show up in real relationships—and what it looks like to start shifting them.

How is coaching with me different?
Not only mindset work, my coaching involves deeply improving self-understanding.
My coaching isn't about becoming a different person.
It's about understanding yourself more deeply so you can make choices that reflect who you are and the life you want to create.
Many people spend years adapting to expectations, roles, or circumstances that once made sense, but no longer fit.
Together, we'll create space to explore questions like:
• Who am I becoming?
• What belongs to me, and what have I inherited from others?
• What kind of life actually fits who I am now?
Together we’ll explore what creating a life that reflects who you are now and what you've discovered might look like.
Dreams, Symbolism & Inner Reflection
For clients who are drawn to a more symbolic or reflective approach, our work together may also include exploration of:
Recurring dreams
Emotional imagery
Intuitive associations
Personal metaphors
Themes that continue to emerge in your inner and outer life.
Rather than approaching your dreams as literal predictions or fixed truths, I view them as meaningful psychological and symbolic material that can offer insight into identity, emotional needs, relationships, creativity, and personal growth.
For many people, engaging with dreams and symbolic themes can become a powerful way of deepening self-understanding, reconnecting with overlooked parts of themselves, and accessing forms of insight that are sometimes difficult to reach through logic alone.
Dream work testimonial:
"I had a dream analysis with Rebecca and walked away with so much more than I thought I would. Rebecca tracked and provided insight to the various themes throughout my complex dream. Not only do I have a greater understanding of this dream, I also have a better understanding of my subconscious mind and how I can continue to listen to it."

My BackgroundA therapist in Ontario for over 12 years, I’ve supported others’ mental health, healing, and personal growth.
That experience shapes how I work—grounded, nuanced, and deeply attentive to the patterns that shape our lives.
Alongside that, I’ve spent 20+ years studying depth approaches and personality systems, including:
Archetypal frameworks
The Enneagram
Attachment patterns
Over the last decade of supporting personal transformation, I’ve developed an approach that bridges deep insight with real-world practical application.
Why People Come to Depth Coaching
People reach out at different points in their awareness:
Some are looking for clarity and insight.
Some are ready for change.
Most can feel both—and aren’t sure what to do with that.
"I don't fully understand what's happening, but I know something isn't working."
"I feel that something is missing, and I'm not sure what it is."
"I feel I need something more—perhaps more creativity, meaning, or fulfillment—but I'm not quite sure what that looks like yet."
"I've outgrown the life I built, and I'm not sure what comes next."
"I understand myself, but I still don't trust my own choices."
"I keep ending up in the same situations and wonder why."
"I'm reinventing myself, but I don't know what that looks like day to day."
"I want a life that feels more like my own."
Beyond SessionsI also explore these themes through stories, films, and other media—especially those connected to belonging, identity, and transformation:
I analyze stories to explore how certain patterns form—especially the orphan archetype pattern—and how they can change; decoding films and series like:
The Queen’s Gambit
Peaky Blinders
The Quiet Girl
Good Will Hunting
These stories capture something deeply human about adaptation, protection, loss, and the search for belonging.
That same lens carries into our work together—helping you understand your own story with greater clarity and compassion.
You don’t just need more insight.
You need a way to work with it
If you’re ready to understand your patterns and begin moving in the world differently, we can start there.
If you’re ready to actually change how you show up—you can apply to work with me 1:1.
This is for people who are ready to go deeper, get specific, and create real change in how they relate to themselves and others.
