Dream analysis training and mentorship for helping professionals
Welcome!
Why I Love Working With Therapists
Therapists are already in the trenches of the depths of the human psyche on a day to day, and I believe it’s one of the reasons they tend to be curious in exploring their own dream work!
I love to help therapists learn how to offer transformative dream analysis services, discover themselves through their dreams, and help them find their unique HealerIdentity™ through dream analysis training and consultation.
Does any of this sound like you?
You wish dream work, Jungian, Freudian, Archetypal, or other depth approaches were covered more in your trainings
You want to add a rare, unique, or depth focused therapy offering to your therapeutic services
You want to engage in your creativity more as a clinician
You know you have something that is unique to you that is your special ingredient in the way you help and serve your communities
You want to increase client satisfaction with their treatment experience
What Your Schooling Didn’t Cover…
You got into this profession because you love people, or you love figuring out what makes a person tick. Or maybe it was your own healing journey that got you curious to pursue the profession. You have invested many years, sweat, and tears, to get into the helping profession in the first place.
However, your training did not necessarily provide you with guidance around dream analysis, or other depth treatment areas such as Jungian approaches, archetypal psychology, or working with unconscious material.
Rebecca Steele, MA, MSW
Dream Analysis Trainer & Depth Therapy Consultant
As a therapist myself, with a thriving private practice and over 10 years of experience as a therapist, I know what it is like to want to offer more depth, meaning, and creativity in my therapeutic treatments- and to feel confident in my healing approaches. And as an HSP and enneagram personality type 4w3, I know this desire intimately!
My private practice is based in Ontario, Canada, and I have over a decade of experience offering psychotherapy and specializing in depth-therapy approaches, one of which is Dream Analysis. I have master's degrees in spiritual care and psychotherapy (MA), and social work (MSW). I provide professional consultation to helping professionals around my specialties. My therapeutic treatment specialties are dream exploration, depth therapy, schema therapy, inner child healing, archetypal approaches, and Jungian approaches.
Outside of my private practice, I also have training as a coach from an ICF-accredited coaching program, and provide dream advising services in a coaching/consulting capacity (non-clinically).
Dream Therapy Training/ Mentorship
Acknowledging the benefits both patients and therapists experience from dream exploration, I decided to offer a training and mentorship program on Dream Therapy in order to help other therapists start discovering how working with dreams can help their clients and practices.
For over a decade I have offered Depth Therapy approaches, including Dream Therapy and Dream Analysis in my private practice. My training and experience in offering Depth Therapy approaches, as well as several years of receiving regular dream analysis consultations from psychotherapist-author Thomas Moore allowed me to really get a handle on what offering meaningful dream work looks like.
The Mentorship Training in Dream Therapy is a Series of 1:1 Consultations Which Can Include:
· An Understanding of What Dream Therapy is and what it can look like in a therapy session
· Knowledge of the benefits for patient and therapist of Dream Therapy
· A Comprehensive breakdown of my 4-step framework approach to working with dreams in client sessions, including ethical considerations when applying the approach
· Case consultations- where you bring your clients' dreams to session, to provide a space where you can really dig into their dream work as a way to apply dream analysis principles in your work
· Guidance on how to apply and integrate different types of therapy models to dream work (eg. Jungian, Strength-Based, CBT, EFT, etc.), depending on your therapeutic proclivities
· Education in archetypcal psychology topics including mythology, archetypal patterns, and symbol as it relates to dream work
· Learnings and examples about the philosophy of Dream as image/art
· Parallel process: an exploration of your own dreams as part of the learning process
· Training in the areas of working with nightmares, recurring dreams, lucid dreaming, and improving dream recall
